Heroes Season 1

My daughter and I did a Heroes Season 1 marathon over the weekend. She saw that I had the 2 episodes from the new season on my ReplayTV and she was interested, but I told her it wouldn't make sense unless she saw the 1st season. So we rented the 1st season

I Like It, But...

I like the Poker After Dark series, but the commentating is bad. They need a better announcer or set of announcers for relevant poker banter. I guess this week there was not as much talking so the lack of a good commentator was really evident. This week,

Best Buy Rocks

I went to Best Buy yesterday to return the S-Video cable that I had purchased on Saturday, turns out I didn't need it and also I need to get an audio cable to make it work with my DVD/Surround Sound player. I was also going to take advantage of Best Buy's

Pulled the Trigger

Well, I went ahead and did it and I happy with the result. Yesterday, I went to Best Buy and bought the Insignia™ 27" Flat-Tube HDTV. It is perfect for what I need right now. It does 480p perfectly and fits exactly in my TV stand and it was only $380!

Reorganize my Home Theater Setup

I think I am going to have to reorganize my home theater setup. I have noticed that everything looks crappy on my televison now. It could be because I am running too much off of the power strips in back or that the cables are all tangled and causing interference
